Sorry cramming in as many posts as possible Before girls camp tomorrow. But I thought I'd share my favorite books which include:
The entire percy jackson series by rick Riordan
Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull
The Sphinx's princess by Esther Fraiser ( I think)
Jane Austin novels ( Timeless and informative)
Way of kings by Brandon Sanderson
Les Meserables by Victor Hugo
Climbing the Stairs by Padma Something that starts with a V
Now remember these have no inappropriate scenes and LITTLE to no swearing, and overall good messages.
Also I thought I'd share with you my view of " Clean" and " appropriate" because I keep sprouting out these words. To me these words mean for basicly all forms of entertainment, nothing that goes against anything in the strength for youth. Clean leaves you feeling good so don't read dark books that hurt your feel goods. And swearing, the more your exposed to it, the more likely you are to participate. Clean is having a good moral, and violence isn't the plotline of lord of the rings so you have no excuse. Also if the romance is getting to heav, just stop. Also it may seem strange but it's slightly important for the hero of the story to actually be the hero. So if the hero drinks, or whatever, I don't even know why that book was created. Neither do you, SO PUT IT DOWN! And lastly no twilight. Ever.
My last word of advice for books in general: One can easily tell if a book was meant for a teen or kid by how many pages it is, the reviews, who published it, and the back cover. THE END
